Kha-still Martial Arts Tree
8 August 2003
Author: Dr_Worm
As the galaxy is vast, so to are the fighting styles in it. For some the direct approach is the best, using an attackers might to beat down an opponent. However there are those that fight smarter, intead of harder. Practioners of Kha-still excell at the art of controlling an opponents action using guile, and the art of combat. By tricking an opponent in to altering their defenses they gain the upperhand regardless of size.
Kha-still Martial Arts Tree - d20 Stats
Kha-still
Prerequisuite:
Martial Arts, Bluff 3+ ranks
Benefit: As a free action against a single opponent you may make a Bluff check, opposed by target's Sense Motive check, to fake out an opponent and control their attack style. If the Kha-still adept has a higher BAB, the Bluff check has a +2 competency bonus, but if the target's BAB is higher the target gets a +2 to their Gather Information check. If the attempt is successful then the Kha-still adept may determine whether the opponent will attack normally, or fight defensively. This may be used regardless of the weapon that the target is using, but both parties must be in melee range. This may be re-tried each turn regardles of success, but if the check fails each subsiquent check is easier to anticipate (+2 to opposed roll).

Kha-still Expertise
Prerequisite:
Bluff 5+ ranks, Martial Arts, Improved Martial Arts, Defensive Martial Arts, Kha-still.
Benefit: If Kha-still Expertise is declared for the round and the character hits a single opponent with a touch attack, they may fake a strike to draw opponents defenses off. If the opponent fails a Sense Motive check (DC=to attack Roll), the Kha-still expert gains a +3 to his next single attack be it this round or next, and decreases the threat range of that attack by one (in otherwords a 19-20 becomes an 18-20).

Kha-still Mastery
Prerequisite:
Bluff 8+ ranks, Advanced Martial Arts, Martial Arts, Improved Martial Arts, Defensive Martial Arts, Kha-still, Kha-still Expertise.
Benefit: Kha-still mastery builds on Expertise, but the benefit for drawing off the target is increased to +5. Addtionally, successfully drawing off the opponent allows the attacker an Attack of Oppertunity.

BeAuMaNA possible inbalance i realized was that technically, since it can be declared for a round, and if successful, the effects be used on an attack in the next round, you could declare the same feat again [ . . . ]
Dr_WormK...I must have made some last minute edit...not sure why.
Rigil KentNo changes on my end beyond some formatting stuff (bold text and the like.)
