The Starlight Tramp

The Starlight Tramp is a recent addition to the Rin Asteral Pirate Armada. It was captured just before the destruction of the first death star. The ship was hauling a cargo of rare gems when it wandered into an ambush. The armada took the cargo and the ship. However they found that they had little use for the small courier ship. In the end the decided to just use it as a high speed shuttle for moving important personnel from one area to another. It also could be used as a high-speed long-range troop shuttle. The Rin Asteral’s experienced some mild success using it to deliver a team of ship-jacker covertly onto a spaceport. Since everyone knew the ship could only carry two passengers no one ever expected it was being used to smuggle people into an area. To pull this off half of the already premium cargo space had to be converted to troop bunks. They also increased the ship’s life support systems to handle the extra passengers. They also added a double turbolaser cannon in the turret and a one-shot concussion missile launcher to give the ship some teeth. The Auto-blasters were removed to add the power needed for the turbolaser. In its place they installed two fire-linked heavy repeating blasters for ground supports.

TonyxIntersting idea. It reminds me of the Republic Attack Gunship from ATOC. At least in some ways. A quick troop transport that can pack a punch. I guess the major difference is that this one has a H [ . . . ]
