Requirements
To qualify to become a Jedi Deep Space Explorer, a character must fulfill the following minimal criteria:
6 Jedi levels.[Jedi Deep Space Explorer may be taken as a seventh level to represent the Jedi Knights area of expertise when they pass the trails.
Skills: Astrogation 2 ranks, Knowledge (Alien species; Archaeology; Astronomy; Biology; Spacer lore; Planet lore; Wilderness lore) 10 ranks total, Pilot 5 ranks, Read/write 2 non-native languages, Speak 2 non-native languages.

Game Rule Information
Vitality: A Jedi Deep Space Explorer gains 1d8 vitality points per level. The character's Constitution modifier applies.

Bonus Feat
Choose any one of the following feats: Animal Affinity, Beast Language, Cosmopolitan, Skill Emphasis (any class skill), Spacer, and Worldwise.
Region Familiarity
Choose one of the following regions: Deep Core, Core Worlds, Colonies, Inner Rim, Expansion Region, Mid Rim, or Outer Rim. You gain +2 to Astrogate rolls in this region.
Increase Lightsaber Damage
The Jedi Deep Space Explorer's ability to deal damage with a lightsaber increases as she gains levels. At 3rd level, the Jedi Deep Space Explorer's familiarity with the weapon allows her to increase her lightsaber damage by +1d8. This added damage is cumulative with increased lightsaber damage from other Jedi classes.

Jedi Knight
If a Jedi takes this PrC at seventh level they get to choose a Knight bonus feat from the following list: burst of speed, force mastery, force mind, knight defense, knight mind, knight speed, skill emphasis-pilot, and starship dodge-space transport.
