Aleena
A short, scaly, reptilian species, known for their quick reflexes, Aleena hail from the small world of Aleen. Falling along the path of one of the galaxies larger trade routes, the primitive Aleena were discovered by a starship crew who set down on their planet for repairs. Since that initial meeting, the Aleena have embraced their place in the greater galactic community, importing technology and travelling the space lanes in search of adventure and new contests of sport and challenge, a species passion. Typically, Aleena travel in groups, often family clans, an evolutionary response to predation of their kind by large carnivorous beasts on their world. This is also the factor influencing the development of their reknown reflexes.
Personality: Aleena are a friendly people, casting their loyalty to those they value like family. The word of an Aleena is considered by many to be unquestionable. Their love of contests of skill makes them a competitive race, though usually this competition is warm-hearted.

They travel to feed their love of adventure and new experiences. Aleena are social and tend to thrive best in with close-knit teams if not with their own kind. | Aleena - d20 Stats |
+2 Dexterity, -4 Strength, -2 Constitution. Whilst being physically dextrous, their minute size limits the amount of stamina and muscle mass Aleena can carry in relation to most sentient races.
Small-size. As small creatures, Aleena gain a +1 size bonus to their Defense, a +1 size bonus to their attack rolls and a +4 size bonus on their Hide checks, but must use smaller weapons than all other sentient species. Small weapons may be used one-handed, medium weapons with two hands and unless on a vehicle or otherwise mounted, large and bigger weapons are simply too big to be wielded effectively by an Aleena. As small beings, they may only carry three-quarters as much as humans.
+3 species bonus on Initiative. Aleena have lightning-fast reactions.
+1 species bonus on Reflex saves. It is very difficult to catch an Aleena napping.
+2 species bonus on Listen and Spot checks. Aleena have developed a natural alertness in response to the predatory Sagcatchers of their homeworld.
Pack Attack. Aleena are social creatures, grouping together for mutual protection. They are adept at coordinating as a team. If a group of Aleena choose to attack the same target in melee in the same round, they each receive a special +1 to their attack rolls for each Aleena attacking, beyond themself. This bonus is to a maximum of +4 and all participating Aleena must attack on the same initiative. The bonus lasts for every round that all Aleena remain in melee against that same target. For example; a group of three Aleena make a Pack Attack on a Gamorrean Thug. Each rolls for initiative and the two who rolled higher delay their action until they can all act together on the initiative of the Aleena who rolled lowest (or a chosen lower initiative). Each receives a special +2 to his attack roll because there are two other Aleena attacking in the Pack Attack besides himself.
Bonus class skills. Regardless of class, the skills, Hide, Listen and Spot are always considered class skills for Aleena. This represents their natural gearing toward flight as a prey animal on their planet.

Also amazing, my homebrew and your stats are nearly the same, except mine is unbalanced (+4 WIS, no abi [ . . . ] | | allstar6767 | Does anyone have a guess as to the lifespan and when maturation occurs for an Aleena? | | So-Var Leet | I am playing as an Aleena Jedi at the moment, and a friend of mine is playing an Aleena demolitions expert in another campaign. We both think that the Aleena is perfectly fine the way it is. :) |
